Clare Elsey
Volunteer
We are delighted to welcome Clare on board as one of our volunteers.
Clare has a passion for animals and wildlife and runs South East London Reptile Rescue, She is out all hours collecting weird and wonderful reptiles and amphibians.
Clare's journeys take her all over London, and she regularly takes her rescues up to National Centre For Reptile Welfare in Tonbridge, where many go on to find new loving homes.
Clare is Neurodivergent herself and a proud mum and grandmother.
"I like to try and raise money for the national center for reptile welfare and other charities like Greenwich and bexley hospice, Great Ormond Street and many other charities along with my side kick Becks who's a huge support to me.
AIM is a place where people understand, volunteering here is an escape for me, to get away from the noise where I can be me, without being judged or deemed rude when I don't want to talk or interact with people,
AIM is somewhere I don't need to pretend to be someone I'm not,
No Drama No Stress, the kids bring out a lot of positivity."
Clare.
