I’m Ed, a late diagnosed AuDHD.
I’m involved with my local NHS trust, through projects, training and being a thorn in the side of NHS higher ups. I have been fighting for better support for those going through the diagnosis process, especially after the life changing diagnosis. I have been co-presenting training for over two years.
I have taken on the powers that be on more than one occasion and got results. I’m not afraid to challenge the status quo.
I am straight talking and will sometimes hit a nerve, but it is because I care so deeply about changing lives. I have been part of my former employer’s disability network since 2022, the best moment was when I was asked to give a presentation to the CEO and my colleagues in my office at very short notice.
I am also compassionate, caring and have a willingness to help others. I’m also driven to make other’s lives better.
I have been co-presenting training for over two years.
I'm really glad to support AIM. They have supported me along my journey and given me a chance to shine
AIM embody all the positives of autistic advocacy.
