The video of Megan talking to Emma has now hit 3 million views on tik tok, imagine if everyone who had watched it had signed the petition as well, it's just gone past 46,818 signatures. Video here:
We also made the decision to hit back at those who were commenting and questioning why they should believe Megan was injured just because she said so (yes really), which has hit 266k views, that's a lot of people proven wrong:
And photos of the protest:
We queried what the Willam Centre could be hiding, as soon as the protest finished and we left they put up frosted paper on the windows:
The protest was on the Tuseday 23rd of July, we flew over to Edinburgh and back that evening. On the Thursday Emma flew back to support Shona in a meeting with the senior consultant of the WFC.
They could not explain why Megan is 'better off' in their care nor explain why she has all the bruises she has on her back in-between her shoulder blades, buttock, knees and feet.
They tried to say that they were the result of restraints, but the areas Megan is bruised in does not match up with where the brusies would be if a restraint was applied properly. We were also told that Megan had been restrained again the day before, on the Wednesday, for not handing over her phones.
They are challenging Shona's Guardianship of Megan, and have said she can only see Megan via video link. Even though they left her with close contact by the window at the protest with Megan for four hours with not one member of staff coming to to check Megan was ok. The meeting was not helpful and simply showed the bias they have towards Shona. Shona has also been told to continue bringing Megan's foods in.
The Willam Fraser Centre decided the answer to everything was to pop a chocolate bar into Megan's room:
We put out a recording of Cameron Adam the social worker who authorised Megan's sectioning, this unfortunately had to be removed after complaints from the council and not jeopardising any progress that may be made with Megan is of course of paramount importance.
And spoke to a former support worker who had worked in the WFC :
Megan and Shona both have solicitors now and are awaiting tribunal. Their MP is involved. An advocate has been found.
We watch, we wait .
Please sign the petition here and most of all, don't stop talking about Megan and what's happening to her. #FreeMegan
The photo of Megan holding the little autistic bear shows the one time she smiled that day. The bear was donated to us by one of the sellers at our Autistic Pride and Craft Fair called Jay. The little bear has stayed with Megan ever since, and Jay hopes that they will provide some small comfort to Megan.
A news link that are relevant from before Megan was sectioned:
And after:
The updates that went up on the 6th and 7th of August:
Shona wanted to thank you for all the messages of support. Devastating to find out from her today that they lost the tribunal.
Megan was not even allowed to attend the tribunal and had no say in anything that was decided about her own mental health 'care', and I use that word loosely considering the harm that the William Fraser Centre has caused her so far.
Shona is still not allowed to see Megan, any suggestion of moving forward with this was cut down immediately.
Megan is no better and is getting worse with her health deteriorating rapidly.
As you can imagine, Shona is utterly heartbroken and needs to take a little time away to process everything.
With the interim guardianship taking place tomorrow, she still has alot to think about.
We don't really know what happens next, but we're hoping we can appeal this decision.
A lot rides on the guardianship hearing.
Shona would like to thank you all for your continued support and truly appreciates your kind words, donations and signatures.

With Shona McIntyre
And:
Shona McIntyre has just been in touch, she won the interim guardianship order of Megan today. West Lothian council were trying to remove Shona's powers of guardianship until the full hearing which will take place on 19th.
One stipulation the sheriff had was that no photos or videos of Megan should be posted on social media. So no resharing or reposting posts or videos with Megan in them, as it would be a breach of the court order. We don't want to jeopardise anything.
This is a temporary measure and will be reasssessed on the 19th of August.
Guardianship is separate from the section keeping Megan imprisoned in hospital.
So now we wait.....
