Update:

£330,000.

Absolutley nothing said about us protesting outside, no acknowledgement of Ambitious about Autism supplying Applied Behavioral Analysis in their schools which is proven to cause Post Traumatic Disorder in autistic people.

They feed on parents insecurities and fears, telling them that they can make their child indistinguishable from their peers, after all how on earth will they manage life once their parents die if they can't comply?

Tell me what this is....

An ABA Therpist gains your child's trust and finds out what your child's passions and interests are.

They befriend your child, and then the 'therapy' begins.

They will manipulate the child to force them to comply with the tasks they want them to complete, this could be something as simple as matching shapes, making eye contact or having 'quiet' hands.

The manipulation takes the form of using a favourite possession or promise of a favoured activity of the child's as a reinforcer to motivate the behaviour and compliance they want to see.

The Therapist will take the possession/ promise away from the child and return it for one minute as a reward if the child satisfies them, then they will remove it again to motivate the child to get it back.

If the child cannot complete the task they don't get the item or the activity, and if they become distressed they will be treated to a planned ignoring by all who are present, until they are ready again to comply.

They may also have the item/ promise removed altogether as a punishment.

The vulnerable child has no rights or autonomy, they are taught to satisfy the adult and if they succeed they are rewarded..... tell me, what does that sound like?

Grooming.

It is grooming.

What sort of person goes into that job....?

Someone who wishes to indoctrinate the child, and take advantage of them.

And what sort of adult will that child grow up into?
